Rocky Mountain Power Foundation grant supports Riverton’s Rails-to-Trails enhancement project
(November, 2008) — The Rocky Mountain Power Foundation has awarded a $2,800 grant to the Riverton City Tree Board to help
enhance the Rails-to -Trails path. The grant helped fund the purchase of 15 new trees, which have recently been planted just
north of Monroe along the recreation path.
Tooele Valley Community Cooperative gets a boost with Rocky Mountain Power Foundation grant
(November, 2008) — Tooele’s citizens will soon have a better facility for seeking help with housing, food, emergency services
and crime victim support. With the help of a $4,000 grant from the Rocky Mountain Power Foundation, the Tooele Valley Community
Cooperative will be able to make repairs to its Community Resource Center building, which is used to serve the community.
Casino Star Theatre reopens with help from Rocky Mountain Power Foundation grant
(November, 2008) — After a one-year hiatus, the Casino Star Theatre recently reopened, marking a return to its glory days
as the Gunnison Valley’s movie house and performance hall. The Rocky Mountain Power Foundation awarded a $5,000 grant toward
the landmark’s renovation.
George S. Eccles Ice Center awarded education grant from Rocky Mountain Power Foundation
(Novemeber, 2008) — The Rocky Mountain Power Foundation has awarded a $7,500 grant to the George S.Eccles Ice Center to support
its Emma Eccles Jones School Outreach Program.

(November, 2008) — The Rocky Mountain Power Foundation has awarded a $2,500 grant to Habitat for Humanity to help build four
homes for needy families in Summit and Wasatch counties – two in Park City and two in Heber City.
Rocky Mountain Power Foundation grant helps purchase window treatments for the Oneida County Senior Citizens Center
(Novemeber, 2008) — The Oneida County Senior Citizens Center will be able to purchase and install window treatments thanks
in part to a $2,500 grant from the Rocky Mountain Power Foundation. The window treatments will help improve the building’s
efficiency, protecting the center from the sun’s glare, and providing added insulation to keep the center warmer in the winter
and cooler in the summer.
Rocky Mountain Power Foundation grant supports the Chesterfield Foundation
(Novemeber, 2008) — The Rocky Mountain Power Foundation has awarded a $2,000 grant to the Chesterfield Foundation to help
purchase a new public address system for the Townsite Amusement Hall.
Foundation grants provide Utah State University engineering scholarships and support Engineering State program
(October, 2008) — Two grants from the Rocky Mountain Power Foundation will benefit Utah State University undergraduate students
studying engineering, and high school students interested in a future career in engineering, science, math or technology.
The foundation has awarded $10,000 for engineering scholarships and $2,500 for the university’s Engineering State program.

Rocky Mountain Power Foundation grant helps provide outdoor theater for Lander resident.
(July, 2008) — The Rocky Mountain Power Foundation has awarded a $5,000 grant to the Fremont County School District #1 to
help support developing an outdoor theater on School District property west of the Lander Valley High School. The grant will
go toward the planning and development of the stage and covering. Preliminary plans include a covered stage suitable for theater,
dance and music performances.
Rocky Mountain Power Foundation awards $100,000 to Salt Lake City educational institutions.
(June, 2008) — The Rocky Mountain Power Foundation has awarded $100,000 to 10 Salt Lake City institutions focused on providing
educational opportunities to the community. The grants raise the total to $502,740 awarded by the foundation to organizations
in Utah, Wyoming and Idaho since January 2008.
Rocky Mountain Power Foundation grant supports Thunder Ridge Scout Camp
(May, 2008) — The Rocky Mountain Power Foundation has awarded a $3,000 grant to Boy Scouts of America, Utah National Parks
Council, for the Thunder Ridge Scout Camp. The grant will be used to help support the ongoing building program to complete

Tuacahn Center for the Arts receives $10,000 grant from Rocky Mountain Power Foundation
(May, 2008) – The Rocky Mountain Power Foundation awarded a $10,000 grant to Tuacahn Center for the Arts to help support the
Summer Theatre Institute and its 2008 Broadway in the Desert theater season. This year’s performances will feature
Les Miserables,
The Sound of Music and
Big River in the 2,000-seat Tuacahn Amphitheatre, and Disney’s
High School Musical presented in the 330-seat indoor Hafen Theatre. These productions will be presented in repertory between June 13and Oct.

Rocky Mountain Power Foundation grant supports arts programs for Pinedale residents
